If your kids have after-school sports make sure they have a water bottle. Forecast highs are only a degree or two off records, with the standing record at Reagan National at 91 from 2017.
Tuesday will start off on the sunny side but things will change by the afternoon as clouds increase. A cold front will move into the region and will bring scattered showers and a few isolated storms along with it into the evening. Even with the front, it will still be a warm day with highs in the mid-80s.
